NOTICE OF COORDINATED ELECTION TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019 STATE OF COLORADO COUNTY OF MOFFAT In accordance with the provisions of C.R.S. 1-5-205, C.R.S. 1-5-205(1.3), and C.R.S. 1-5-205(1.4) notice is hereby given that the November 5, 2019 Coordinated Election will be held by mail ballot with the following designated drop-off location for mail ballots: Moffat County Clerk & Recorder's Office 221 West Victory Way Suite 200 Craig, CO 81625 There is also a 24-hour drop box located at the east entrance of the Courthouse Mail ballots will be mailed to all active registered voters. Application for a ballot to be mailed to an address other than the elector's address of record may be made from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the County Clerk's Office - 221 West Victory Way #200, Craig CO 81625. Monday, October 28, 2019 is the last day to apply for a replacement ballot to be mailed. Application for a replacement mail ballot or a mail ballot for an inactive voter may be made during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day at 221 West Victory Way #200, Craig, CO 81625. Forms are available on the Election page of the county website or by calling (970) 824-9120. Persons wishing to surrender their mail ballot to vote on ADA accessible voting equipment may do so at the Moffat County Clerk's Election Office, 221 West Victory Way #200, Craig, CO 81625. Registering to vote after October 28th: If you are not registered to vote in Colorado, and are a citizen of the United States, will have attained the age of 18 years and reside in Colorado for at least 22 days by November 5, 2019 (Election Day) you can register to vote until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. If you want to receive a mail ballot packet, you must do so before October 28, 2019; otherwise you will need to visit the Voter Service and Polling Center to vote in person. You can register to vote or update your existing voter registration at Ballots must be received by the Moffat County Clerk & Recorder's office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day in order for the ballot to be counted. Ballots received after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day will not be counted. Postmarks do not count as received.
