A public hearing will be conducted for informing citizens and soliciting public input, written or oral,
regarding the Hospital Hill Renovation, Basis of Design Report (BDR). The BDR is a report detailing the project as proposed, including project necessity, and components. The BDR also describes the overall cost of the project. The report has been submitted to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to qualify the Town of Hayden for a State Revolving Fund Loan.
A temporary 10,000 gallon hydro-pneumatic tank will be used in order to drain and inspect the Hospital Hill Tank for repair needs. Repairs and recoating of the interior metal surfaces of the tank to remediate minor corrosion issues will be made and a cathodic protection system will be installed to increase the service life of the steel tank.
Project Cost: $854,400
