ORDINANCE NO. 1121 (2021)
A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE TO CARRYOVER BUDGETED 2020 PROJECTS OR COMMITMENTS NOT ACCOMPLISHED IN 2020 INTO THE 2021 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the 2021 Annual Appropriation Ordinance #1118; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous to modify and amend the 2021 Budget to complete the following projects or commitments:
(a.) To increase Capital Outlay Council budget in the General Fund for the Downtown Sidewalk engineering ($50,540), and the URA planning and formation ($15,160);
(b.) To increase the Park budget in the General Fund for a trail groomer ($9,370) and a soft cab kit ($3,130);
(c.) To increase Capital Outlay - Road & Bridge in the General Fund budget for a water truck ($231,870), and beautification improvements ($7,100);
(d.) To increase the Museum Fund budget for the repair to the roof ($15,800);
(e.) To increase the Water Fund budget for the following items: Water System upgrade/Chloramines Improvements - construction ($100,000) and engineering ($10,000), asphalt overlay/road repair on 6th Avenue West ($15,000), water system leak detection survey ($35,000), building secure access improvements ($40,000), MCC panel replacement ($50,240), and rebuild of a high service pump ($25,340);
(f.) To increase the Wastewater Fund budget for the following items: sludge line replacement project and engineering ($156,680), walk-in gate installation ($1,740), plant handrail replacement ($5,000), rebuilding a recirculation pump ($45,000), engineering for East 7th Street sewer main extension ($50,000), building secure access improvements ($40,000), and purchase of a high crop tractor ($120,000).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CRAIG, COLORADO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 5. The City Council deems it appropriate to publish the title of this ordinance, together with a summary of the ordinance and with a statement that the text is available for public inspection and acquisition in the office of the City Clerk.
